Each small tile piece of lambskin leather is unique.

The pillows have a nearly hidden zipper and they are fur showing front and back. The pattern design is created using small rectangular pieces tiles of sheared fur lambskin that vary some in size to produce a spread that is soft and flexible. The front side is sheared lambskin fur and the backside of kt 1032 is a very soft smooth lightweight leather that the fur is naturally attached.

Item kt spread feathered dark brown lambskin fur front reverses to brown leather in several shades size 102 in. The size of the tiles varies by artist but kt 1032 has tiles vary in size see photos. This flexibility allows the piece to elegantly drape across a sofa, the foot of a bed or be laid smoothly flat when used as a bedspread or coverlet.

The spreads are not lined. Each spread is unique. The spread is handcrafted by Artisans in the southern sheep raising area of south America.

The height of the shear of the fur tiles in this spread is approximately 5 7mm with some minor variation. The majority of the family business is making lambskin slipper, mittens and gloves that many of us love to receive at Christmas. No one else imports these spreads to the USA. Faux fur does not mimic the drape, look,feel, leather fragrance of a real Artisan fur piece. I can have my staff alter a spread to be smaller but not bigger.

The Artisan uses a stitch described as the fur stitch For sewing. Some of the variations in tile are shown in the photos look at the backside photos. Be sure to measure your bed top and add the length you want the spread to drop down on the other sides.

The tiles are sewn together using sewing machines similar to your great grandmothers singer. I do have some x pillows For most colors.

The item must be totally enclosed and tied in a large plastic bag and put back in the box For return shipping. Examine the photos closely. This is one of our larger pieces having more value than mentioned.

There are natural variations in the leather that award character to each tile. Many tiles have fur that is slightly curly and some tiles are curlier.
